She was playing with her red balloon
Tossing it up into the air

Running and jumping and
Skipping and putting it
Onto her head

It was the best friend she ever had
She never seemed to ever get tired of

But balloons have a very short life
She didn’t do anything wrong
But sad my friend I have to say
At 12 o’clock on the very next day
Her balloon went – BANG!
