All of the dinosaurs, this much we know
Lived on the earth, millions of years ago

Tyrannosaurus Rex was the big one, the tyrant lizard
He walked on 2 legs, with a long heavy tail
13 metres long and with big sharp teeth – scary

Triceratops looked like a rhinoceros, with three sharp horns
And quills like a porcupine, and a backward pointing frill
You would not wish to meet when he's looking for something to eat - no way!

The stegosaurus ate rocks and no wonder, with a brain the size of a walnut
Plates on its back and spikes on its tail
9 metres long with 4 short legs and a very very tiny brain

The brontosaurus looked like a huge dragon and lived in swamps
The brachiosaurus had legs like an elephant, and a neck like a giraffe
The spinosaurus had teeth like a crocodile and could walk and swim...but

It’s hard to imagine such creatures here today
It’s such a very long time ago, but at least we can all say
